COMPLIANCE

Emrys has an appointed Compliance Officer who ensures initial and annual HIPAA training for all members of staff. Our officer conducts audits and assessments, analyze the results, to guarantee there are no deficiencies.  Along with our business associates, we ensure the technical, physical and administrative safeguards are in place and adhered to for the security of personal health information.

TRAINING

Each Emrys new hire goes through regulatory training, system training, and operational training associated with their assigned client.  This rigorous training in monitored and tested to ensure the employee has the proper knowledge before working accounts.​ Emrys encourages our team member and business associates to gain certifications in their applicable areas.  Emrys supports our staff by providing memberships to organizations such as the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM) and Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
